Winter Wonders

Brrrrr.... could become Brrrrrilliant!

It doesn't snow all the time, so when it does, make the most of it and experience something wonderful.

Kerenza, Alex and Mia had a lovely evening after school in Hednesford. They used their local open space to make a great snowman and kept warm and toasty by a fire, with the help of their parents.

They used a proper metal outdoor fire tray which helps the fire to remain safe and contained. Placing some bread on using a skewer, to make sure their hands were away from the flames, they enjoyed making toast outside, washed down with a hot chocolate!

Giving children the opportunity to experience the wonders of a winter fire safely with adults, teaches them to respect it and it gives parents the opportunity to explain the dangers and why we all should act responsibly.

A fire should never be left alone and be totally put out when you finished guarding it.
