There are kind people all across our district who are there to assist families and individuals who are in need of help. Everything from debt to drinking can impact on the health and wellbeing of an entire family. Confidential services can really help people work through problems to improve their quality of live.

Tips when searching for help.
Often support services change their numbers, or new services become available. We always recommend you double check what is currently available. I know it sounds simple, but at a time of need it's sometimes difficult to start. You could:

• Look in your telephone information directory.
• Speak to a doctor / health nurse / school nurse or health co-ordinator
• Use your local library facilities – (staff are happy to help)
• Look at reputable websites, such as ones with nhs or gov in them, and often they link to local services.
